Angel Camino

Partner at Desai Camino, APC

Angel Camino grew up in Orange County and attended the California State University of Fullerton (CSUF) where he began as an Accounting major. During his education he added Finance as a second major and upon graduating also added Economics as a third focus.

Angel’s Background

After graduating from CSUF, Mr. Camino began his accounting career, first as a Tax Accountant and then as an Audit Associate for one of the “Big-Five” accounting firms in the nation. Thereafter, Mr. Camino was granted a scholarship to join the second inaugural class of the then brand-new University of California, Irvine’s School of Law (UCI Law). Mr. Camino’s passion for trial work drove him to win first place at every Mock Trial competition UCI Law held during his education there. His passion for giving back to the community inspired him to volunteered much of his free time to the Pro Bono efforts of UCI Law, ultimately bestowing him with various Pro-Bono awards including graduating with Pro Bono Honor Cords.

While his accounting and business experience empowers him to competitively handle high-asset and complex litigation family law cases with ease, his pride is helping families transition smoothly past the difficult times that accompany family law cases.

As a first-generation Cuban-American raised in Southern California, Mr. Camino is active in local charities and firmly believes in giving back to the community. Mr. Camino is fluent in Spanish (spoken and written) and enjoys keeping active including jogging, tennis, baseball, golf, and bowling. He also enjoys cooking, training his puppy, is learning chess, and participates in competitive Latin ballroom dancing.

A Personal Note from Angel

Personal Note: “For the first ten years of my life I was raised by a single mom in a divorced home; I was thereafter raised in a blended family after my mother remarried a man whom I now proudly call my dad. I speak firsthand when I say I have seen how emotional family law issues can get, on both sides of the spectrum. In addition to my clients’ legal issues, there is often a very tangible emotional component in most cases; I strive to give special attention to both components, as without, a victory for a client can still feel very empty. I truly believe that completely advocating for my clients requires not only a strong grasp on the law and my hyper-technical legal abilities but also an ability to empathize. I believe this is what allows me to be an assertive yet compassionate advocate for my clients. My drive ensures that my clients’ legal matters are given the attention they deserve.”
